Niklas Krütten looks ahead with excitement to Season Opener of European Championship in Sarno

Since the beginning of this year, Niklas Krütten is competing in the highly-competitive Senior-Kart Class, in which the Rookie sees himself racing against much older and more experienced drivers. The 14-year-old German has participated in six international Top-Events this year, getting more experience and establishing his name. Next weekend, Niklas will take part in the first of five rounds of the CIK-FIA European Championship, which is being held at the South-Italian track in Sarno.

More than 180 drivers from 31 nations have already subscribed to the entry list, which will make the season opener to an exciting and eventful weekend. 80 drivers will participate the Senior-Kart category together with Niklas Krütten and the competitiveness will be extremely high. Niklas´ goal at this year´s European Championship is to establish himself as a Rookie in the new Senior-Class.

„We have had a few really good races this year“, says the 14-year-old, looking ahead to the weekend to come. „Despite not having had the luck on our side most of the time, we continuously improved our speed and performance. If all comes together, we should have a good weekend.“
