Niklas Krütten full of energy for next DKM round
The karting scene had to take patience for four weeks, but the young motorsport talents of the German Kart Championship (DKM) will return to the track following the summer break. Amongst those drivers will be the Trier-born Niklas Krütten, who wowed with impressive results on international level at recent events.
Make a way for the international karting elite from 4th until 6th September for the fourth round of the DKM Championship. The outdoor karting track is suited right in the area of the etropolis Motorsport Arena Oschersleben, and with a total length of 1.018 km is hard on both driver and machine.
Niklas Krütten only turned 12 this year and races against internationally ambitioned and experienced kart racers, most of whom are two years older on average. Niklas, the young gun from Trier, has all the right qualifications to get good exposure in the Motorsport stage one day. Many times, he has proofed his talent, his determination, his speed and his technical understanding.
Furthermore, he has held steady as the Rookie at international Top-Events with about 90 of the world´s best kart drivers, entering the Final of the Top-30 on a regular basis. At the last meeting at Ampfing, he put in a stunning drive and difficult and wet conditions in the qualification race for the final, leaving everyone in the race over five seconds behind. But now, there is a new task with Oschersleben.
“Oschersleben is a real nice track, probably one of the nicest and most interesting on the calendar”, says the 12-year-old. “We had a good summer break, but now I cannot wait to climb back into my kart.
“We saw at Ampfing that with a bit more luck on our side, we would have race amongst the front runners, considering I made up 16 places in the final race. But it all counts again this weekend and I am confident to pull out another successful races.”
